A beginning...

So my sister is the one who got me started on this blogging thing. I had heard about it, of course, from my younger and hipper friends. But until now it was just one more thing to do "one of these days". That particular list is getting longer by the second, my friends. So here's to blogging - heck, here's to doing something just because everyone else is doing it, for once!
