Starting over
We made it to Utah. The move was bad. Clark's appendix ruptured during the week when we were packing and he had to have surgery. The surgery went well and he was fine, but he couldn't lift anything. Let's just say that it was a stressfull time for all of us. Thankfully, however, he recovered quickly and was able to drive the moving truck. Sometimes small blessings make all the difference. Our house in Vermillion sold very quickly - a huge blessing. We found a house in a great neighborhood in Provo and have spent the past few months settling in. The schools are great, the neighbors are great, and it's justa matter of time before it all starts to feel like home.
The weather has turned cold and ski season is upon us. Clark and I bought season passes to Sundance(discounted through BYU - love those perks!) and are looking forward to hitting the slopes in December when they open. The kids will soon be skiing, too. The schools will actually bus them up to the ski slopes every Friday!
We are looking forward to spending the upcoming holiday season with family. We are actually having Thanksgiving at our house this year with grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. That is a first for us!
