Still waiting...

Clark's interview at BYU was two months ago, and now we are in the home stretch. The final committee meets this week to approve whatever name the department submitted, and if that is Clark, then we should hear back from BYU with a job offer the first part of next week. As much as we have tried not to get our hopes up, we can't help it. Both of us want so badly to live close to family, and the opportunities at BYU are so much broader for Clark's career, that we have had a hard time not letting our imaginations run wild. The waiting is eating us up inside. But we are trying to have faith that whatever happens is for the best and that it all fits in with whatever the Lord has planned for us. The kids aren't really that excited at the prospect of moving again - they have been uprooted a lot in their short lives - but I'm hoping that if we do move the benefits of being close to grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins will outweigh the negatives of leaving friends behind.
